 Cosmic Communication 50"h x 30"w An interesting visitor to my recent solo exhibition looked around at my work and asked, "Are you aware of intergalactic communication?" I had never considered that possibility but listening to her I began to imagine that artistic ideas may come from the Cosmos!  Eleven 3 Eleven 43"h x 32"w On the 11th of March, 2011, Fukushima and much of northeast Honshu was devastated by the chaos of a 9.0 earthquake offshore. Eleven 3 Eleven is meant to honor those who were lost and those whose lives and homes were forever changed on that day.  Cotton Candy ____________________ 47"h x 37"w Quits = Art = Quilts 2012 Rio Patchwork and Design Exhibition 2013 I got a bit silly with the edge of this piece by adding some felt balls I made and decided I liked it. Cotton candy is silly too, but fun and delicious anyway. That’s at least some kind of endorsement for my choices on this quilt. |
